Last minute gift ideas

Holiday Gift Guide

Just 3 weeks until Christmas???  I am in soooo deep right now.  I usually have all my decorating done and most of my gifts bought….now is when I like start baking and giving sweets to neighbors and friends.  Yeah, not even close this year.  I could go into all the reasons why but the bottom line is Life Happened and family trumped holiday prep.

This means I am now scrambling for unique beautiful and useful gift ideas without having to run all over town to find them!  Are you there too???  PLEASE tell me I’m not the only one!  Here’s where my small biz friends come to the rescue!  Check out these amazing finds…

For the Book Lover:

A brand new historical fiction release by good friend and author, Shayna Matthews.  Shayna has a gift with words and has been active in the re-enactment community for years.  Her ability to make the characters come to life is truly enchanting…a must read and your gift recipient will not want to put it down until the very last page.

If you’re local (middle TN), book signing festivities will be on Dec. 7 and you can find more info here

This book will be officially released on Amazon on December 10 and ordering details are available on Shayna’s website or follow her on Instagram for up to the minute info.

$17.97 in print or just $0.99 for the ebook at the intro price.

For the Diva:

My name is Kristina Thigpen and I’m a very active person.  Most of my days start at the gym before heading to work as a cabinet builder.  Then after work I go home to be a Mom. Doing the regular cooking and cleaning.  I am always working with my hands and traditional nail polish has never lasted more than a day for me. That’s why I love Color Street! I absolutely love the glitters. They are so smooth and  sparkly.  The average set lasts about 10 days, but I have had some of the glitters last 3 whole weeks, with minor filing on the tips. With so many options available,  I usually change them long before they need it.  Tokyo Lights has to be my absolute favorite!  It’s a beautiful Rose gold look that complements so many other colors for the perfect accent nail or mixed manicure.

For the Cowboy/Cowgirl:

The Hitching Post Supply carries all kinds of western treasures.  Owner Vickie Mullen is a real live cowgirl and her website is full of authentic and beautiful gift ideas.  One of my faves is this Alamar Knot Key Ring handmade with genuine horsehair in your choice of 7 color combos.  I know a couple friends who will find these in their stockings this year! You can find yours here for just $12 each!

For Rapunzel:

Hair jewelry that stays put in all types of hair.  Lilla Rose hair accessories are seriously one of my fave things!  This line of hair clips solves so many hair woes!  They are strung on piano wire so the beaded portion is flexible.  The pin is attached and has several notches which “lock” the clip in place for all day hold without the hair headache.  Unlike elastics, they do not cause breakage and do not tangle in the hair.  Toss the plastic claw for good  and enjoy quality hair accessories that are guaranteed for an entire year. (but I’ve got some that are now 6 years old!) Available in 7 different sizes; all include a free 90 day size exchange.

For the active, outdoor lover:

noble outfitters gloves

I absolutely adore these gloves.  I’ve had horses and worked in a barn year round for a long time now and these are hands down THE BEST winter gloves I’ve ever owned.  I love that they are fleece lined and warm, but the best part is the stretch panels in them that allow you to move an manipulate your fingers even with a heavier glove on.

Available in sizes XS through XL.

You can find these faves on Amazon https://www.amazon.com/Noble-Outfitters-Working-Waterproof-Horseback/dp/B07FB27QH7/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=noble%2Boutfitters%2Bdakota%2Bwaterproof%2Bfleece%2Blined%2Bwork%2Bgloves&qid=1575921469&sr=8-3&th=1&psc=1
